Bob and Jane White of Seal and Shore Watch looking very happy with their plaque. We look forward to seeing their finished project.
PACT
In the picture we have Sue, on the left and Sam on the right. They showed us the projects The Chapman Trust has been able to help with. The concrete pits are just one in an early building stage of the rehabilitation area for swans and other large waterbirds and waders. These pits will have a waterproof lining and each one covered with a secure wire cage.
We were also shown around other parts of PACT's vast facility with areas for sheep, pigs, horses and llamas as well as cats, dogs, deer, foxes, hedgehogs and reptiles, as well as a vast array of birds, all demonstrating PACT as an impressive, well run organisation.
Catch and Treat Strays.
Bernard and Doreen (holding our plaque) and another lady whose name I’m afraid I missed in front of the wonderful cat cages our funds helped to build. Bernard is holding a plaque made by CaTS thanking us for the grant.
